This section is for folks that want a motor rebuild, but want current quality upgrades without doing the big bore thing.
 

 

       

1.00 (62mm) Oversize Pistons. (AHRMA Legal)
 These pistons are perfect for those who do not want to go with the expense of big-bore motor requirements.

These pistons feature:
10.5 to 1 or higher compression ratio for a perfect match with larger performance camshafts.
Intake and exhaust valve pockets were machined 100 thousands deeper for CX-1, SX-1 and other camshafts.
The piston skirts were armor-glide coated for added insurance against tuning or oil mishaps.
The race proven ceramic piston dome coating will repel unwanted heat (heat is not your friend) 
3 piece oil rings and chrome top rings are an industry standard.

Note:
Compression ratios will vary with combustion chamber modifications and gasket thicknesses.
 Stock, lower compression piston ratios with performance camshafts will not produce the full benefits expected in most cases. (These pistons will)
Early Honda engineers experimented with thinner piston domes to control heat ..... Now-a-days we have ceramic dome coatings which have proved to be a major upgrade in all performance minded motors.
These pistons will be offered with surfaced, heli-coiled, blasted, "O" ring modified,  bored and honed cylinder packages.
Also,
We will be offering these pistons, cylinders, matching springs and camshafts in a combo to save a buck.

Cylinder:
Blasted with perfect finned cylinder.
We use medium grit for blasting knowing that most people paint the cylinder.
The cylinder is surfaced to clean up. (minus .005)
(6) 12mm long Heli-coils for additional strength.
Oil feed "O" ring modification. We use this modification on almost ever cylinder because the O rings sometimes move because they are
unsupported on the inside. We machine this area and install dowell pins to support the o rings and keep them in place.

Camshaft:
This CX-1 camshaft has been one of the most popular camshafts for years for its well rounded performance characteristics.
Now that this CX-1 is combined with our CycleX piston kits .... It is one of the best combos developed for Honda cb750s in decades.
Note:
For AHRMA racing or Hotter street life ..... We recommend the SX-1 camshaft. (no extra charge)
Also:
Shouldered bolts with slotted camshaft sprocket is included and a must for proper camshaft installation.

.050 (61.5) Oversize Piston Set.
We have matched these .050 piston compression ratios to several mild performance camshafts to make a perfect "sleeper" motor package.
These pistons are treated with the same race proven armor glide and ceramic dome coatings described above.
The CycleX 1.00 and .050 piston, cam and valve spring packages have been known to out-run many 836cc motors with the proper tune.
